Increased funeral numbers combined with more stringent Health and Safety standards have driven the development of Care Centres for Funeral providers. Care Centres vary from the traditional Funeral Directors Shops and are generally in out of town locations allowing for improved vehicle access, improved staff facilities and improved facilities for the care of the Deceased. We have worked on a number of these Care Centres over recent years and have been responsible for Change of Use Applications, Planning Applications and the Building Regulation Stages. We have developed a design strategy for Care Centres using our vast experience in Funeral Architecture to fully understand the space requirements and building flow required to produce thoughtful and efficient buildings. Over the years we have forged close working relationships with both manufacturers of specialist funeral equipment and a nationwide network of Contractors experienced in working within the Funeral Industry and can offer advice to Clients on how to access the information they require to fully understand the nature of their development.
