About
LF Architecture Ltd is a small, independent architectural and building regulations consultancy led by Louise Flower. The practice provides design and regulatory compliance services across domestic and non-high-risk commercial projects.
Louise has over 25 years’ experience in architectural practice, working across residential, listed building and specialist commercial sectors. She established LF Architecture in 1999 and has since delivered a wide range of projects, from domestic extensions and refurbishments to complex change-of-use schemes and specialist funeral care facilities.
The practice now focuses increasingly on Building Regulations compliance and Principal Designer (Building Regulations) services, reflecting changes introduced by the Building Safety Act 2022. Louise acts as an Architectural Designer and Individual Principal Designer on appropriate domestic and non-high-risk commercial projects, coordinating specialist consultants and guiding clients through the regulatory process.
LF Architecture operates as a small, director-led practice. This ensures that all projects benefit from direct professional input, clear communication, and a proportionate, risk-aware approach to design and compliance.
Where projects are larger or more complex, Louise collaborates with other architects, consultants or specialist dutyholders or advises clients on appointing a more appropriate team. This approach ensures that projects are always delivered with the right level of competence, resources, and regulatory oversight.
