Two Storey Extension

We have been involved with the complete renovation, extension and garden design for this C17th East Sussex Cottage. The Cottage was fortunately not Listed and located outside the South Downs National Park Boundary. Our wealth of planning knowledge and understanding of the Permitted Development Rights ensured approval was granted by Wealden District Council for this two-storey extension to double the size of the original cottage, providing an additional 128m2 of floor area, over two stories. The design and layout of the extension enabled the Client to remain living in the house during the extension build and ensured that the character of the original cottage was retained, whilst visually and thermally upgrading the rear and side elevations.
